Excursions between Tuscan and Umbrian cities
One of the best things you can do when visiting a new place is to ask the local people what are the most beautiful and interesting “hidden treasures”.
With us you will discover the ancient residences, the Roman and medieval routes between Castelli and Abbazie, crossing extraordinary villages outside of time and tasting unexpected masterpieces of art.
Production and Tasting of Olive Oil
La Maestà is farmhouse that owns about 1300 olive trees of different varieties, including the Frantoio, Moraiolo, Leccino and Pendolino.
From there comes the production of our oil that, if you like, we would have the pleasure of having you taste if you like, we will let you taste it.

Wine cellar tours
Come to the majesty and ask for a guided tour of a wine cellar in the local area!
It is a time not to be missed, a unique opportunity, not only to taste the typical wines of the territory (Nobile di Montepulciano, Chianti, Brunello di Montalcino), but also a way to learn useful notions and little curiosities about the tasting technique, immersing yourself in a sea of history that only Tuscany can tell you about.
Clean, comfortable property with shared access to pool and washing machine. Air conditioning was great - we arrived in the middle of a heatwave. No local shops or restaurants so stock up before you arrive. Note the location shown on Airbnb gives the wrong driving directions.
An absolute idyllic location. We could not have been happier staying here. We were close to Cortona which is a must see and enjoyed using the villa as a base to explore nearby towns including a drive around the lake. The pool was beautiful and we enjoyed eating meals on the balcony. As others have said a car is a must to get to nearby towns. Rosalinda gave us excellent suggestions on where to go and where to eat, most of which we followed with great success.
A beautiful spot to base yourselves. A spacious apartment with all you really need and good air con. A great pool - shared with up to 3 other properties. You do need a car - great restaurants short drive away.
The stay at Rosalinda' house was wonderful. The facilities were great. Location perfect! The view from the balcony was beautiful. The pool was a great amenity allowing us all to get our aquatic exercise every morning. Communiction with Rosalinda was easy and quick. Thank you for such a wonderful stay! roy and Daniela
What a fantastic place to relax and chill. Comfortable accommodation, lovely pool and gardens. Rosalinda and family were very welcoming. Despite the heat outside (36c) the aircon was wonderful and the pool just magic. If you've got teenagers then the wifi is adequate, if a little patchy in the apartment, but great by the pool! Streamed the cricket no problem. The ambience of the place and the views are just fantastic. You'll need a car but Castiglion Fiorentino is 10 mins by car and has very good supermarkets (Gala/Conad) and Cortona and Arezzo are just 20-30 mins away and should be visited. Siena was an easy hour away and a must do. Eating out would recommend both Gallo Nero and Il Passagio in C. Fiorentino. Would like to think we'll be back someday.
Rosalinda's place is one of the loveliest places we have stayed in. The views around the property and the pool are really stunning. The apartment is spacious, has great air conditioning and everything you need (even a dishwasher). The pool is shared with the upstairs apartment but when we were there we had it to ourselves most of the time. To be honest there are plenty of beds, loungers and chairs around the pool so it would never be an issue. Rosalinda was quick to answer queries and questions. We BBQed in front of our apartment every evening and ate enjoying the sunset and amazing views. Visited the local town and Siena (just under an hour) but there were lots of other places we didn't make it to. Hopefully we will be back.
Rosalinda was a great host with very good communication and replied to us via whazzapp. We booked late and she made herself available in the evening for checkin. Overall the place is in great nature and surroundings with great views of olive trees and the sunset, with the pool being a great asset. We were by ourselves so it was relaxing. What didn’t work so well was the location address, which is incorrect on Airbnb and as there are three Montecchio’s in very short distance we spent a lot of time finding the place. Also, the room is ok but on the photos it doesn’t show that the furniture is quite old and it is very basic (which we knew but we were surprised a bit). Some basic stuff we at least were expecting in an agriturismo (oil, salt, dishes for pasta, garbage bag, etc) were missing. Maybe it was also because of COVID season and out after hoc arrival but we had expected this based on previous travel. Overall, good place in great environment, with upside on some of the details above.
